What are the characteristics of the 3M Polygun EC?
The 3M Polygun EC applicator gun is an electric glue applicator from the Jet-Melt range developed by 3M, allowing for the application of hot melt adhesive.
This gun is one of the most versatile as it is compatible with both hot melt and low melt adhesives.
The melting chamber temperature is adjustable between 130°C and 232°C via five modules that are screwed into the handle and can be changed based on the desired temperature:

Additionally, the Polygun EC features an "inverted" drive handle: the pressure applied to extrude the glue is managed by the palm of the hand rather than the finger. This design makes the handle ergonomic, providing comfort and ease of application for the user. The handle remains cool due to a double-walled ventilation system that dissipates heat.
It is also noteworthy that the glue output is higher than that of other guns. The adhesives used are notched sticks that fit into a specific mechanism, allowing for precise and controlled application of the glue.
Different types of nozzles can be adjusted, and the product includes a glue flow stop system to prevent drips.

Usage Tips
Special care should be taken with the equipment after use to prevent clogging and accumulation of glue in the nozzle. Caution should be exercised as the nozzle remains hot during application.
