      Key Features of ADEZIF TF085

The ADEZIF TF 085 is a double-sided transfer adhesive tape that stands out for its significant adhesive thickness compared to standard transfer tapes. Its adhesive mass, 120 µm thick, is made of acrylic and designed to adhere to all types of surfaces, including low surface energy materials that are notoriously difficult to bond.

The ADEZIF TF 085 is suitable for bonding metal surfaces, plastics (polycarbonate, ABS, PMMA, PP, PE), glass, and paper (standard, coated, or laminated...).

For very low surface energy materials such as certain PE (Polyethylene) or PP (Polypropylene), you can also consider 3M 9627 and 3M 9629 adhesive products.

The initial adhesion is strong, and the resulting bond withstands high static shear forces.

Due to its thickness, this transfer tape is ideal for rough surfaces as it conforms well to irregularities and compensates for uneven surfaces, allowing for a permanent bond across the entire surface.

It offers excellent resistance to UV, solvents, and maintains high temperature durability, withstanding up to 150°C continuously and 230°C short-term.

A key advantage is its availability in widths up to 1000 mm. It can be cut into rolls to the desired width and shape.

      How to Use and Apply ADEZIF TF085

Before application, ensure the material to be bonded is clean, free from dust, dirt, or grease. If needed, surface cleaning may be required.

This adhesive tape can be applied manually without tools or using a manual dispenser like the DM304 metal dispenser or an automatic dispenser such as the RT7000.

For narrow-width applications, use the ADEZIF TF 069 transfer adhesive tape, a similar product with small plastic cores suitable for the ATG700 manual dispenser.
