Description of ADEZIF MV833
ADEZIF MV833 is a double-sided adhesive tape made entirely of acrylic foam and is highly conformable, meaning it is very flexible.
It allows for strong and durable bonding of a variety of similar or dissimilar materials for permanent and demanding applications, both indoors and outdoors.
It is widely used in sectors such as transportation, construction, solar panels, signage, display, and industry.
The 0.64 mm thickness makes it ideal for bonding thinner and lighter materials, providing a good balance between exceptional strength and excellent conformability, even on rough surfaces.
What are its applications?
Common applications include:
Bonding and sealing plastic windows on pre-painted control panels, and polycarbonate lenses on LCD screens, providing a clean and finished appearance while reducing weight.
Stitching vinyl banners
Assembling decorative materials: offers great production flexibility and design possibilities.
Bonding signage plates and logos
Fixing stiffeners to panels
And more...
Product features and customer benefits
The ADEZIF MV833 is highly versatile, offering the following key features:
High initial tack with quick application. For optimal bonding, it’s recommended to wait 72 hours before applying pressure to allow the acrylic adhesive to fully develop its strength.
The acrylic adhesive is specially formulated to resist plasticizers, allowing the MV833 to be used on vinyl assemblies. It’s still recommended to check compatibility with your specific surface.
Viscoelasticity: As a 100% acrylic foam tape (similar to VHB tapes), it can deform but returns to its original shape without losing performance.
High resistance to shocks, even at low temperatures, with improved acoustics and lower repair costs.
Absorbs thermal expansions between two different materials: ideal for new designs or assemblies.
Excellent shear resistance.
High resistance to solvents and UV rays.
Suitable for a wide range of materials: steel, aluminum, glass, PC, ABS, PET, hard and soft PVC, PMMA plastics, painted wood, painted or sealed concrete, composites.
Our cutting machines located at our three production sites allow for custom cutting of this acrylic foam tape to the desired width and shape.
How to apply?
Before anything else, ensure the surfaces are clean to maximize the bonding efficiency.
The application process is simple, and we recommend following these steps for optimal fixation:
Apply the adhesive tape manually or with a specific dispenser available on our website.
Apply pressure: this essential step is often overlooked!
Remove the liner.
Assemble and apply pressure again.
Wait for the final bond strength.
