Overview

What are the characteristics of 3M 4941 ?

VHB 4941 is an acrylic foam adhesive tape developed by the company 3M for its excellent conformability, that is to say its capacity to conform to the surface upon which it is bonded.

Therefore it has a certain advantage for irregular surfaces or rigid material to increase the adhesive / substrate and to improve bonding performance.

4941 scotch tape (and the series 4936 and 4956) are formulated to resist plasticizer migrations and therefore have an important advantage for the assembly of plastic-coated vinyl. Note that the flexibility of this product gives it weaker performance than other VHB in regards to peeling, tearing and shearing.
