What are the characteristics of 3M 9325?
3M 9325 is a single-sided adhesive tape featuring a high-density polyethylene (UHMW) backing, manufactured by 3M. This adhesive is a thinner version of 3M 5430 with a liner.
Its acrylic adhesive allows for excellent performance outdoors due to its resistance to UV, aging, shear, and solvents. Additionally, its transparent backing combined with a clear adhesive makes it ideal for applications where transparency and a polished final appearance are important.
3M 9325 offers excellent adhesion on plastics and painted metals (especially steel).
Like other UHMW tapes, it is known for its high resistance to abrasion and wear, anti-stick properties, and a low coefficient of friction, making it an optimal solution for reducing noise, squeaks, and vibrations.
