      What are the characteristics of the safetywalk product ?

The safetywalk adhesive range is one of the most reliable non-slip products on the market, manufactured by the compagny 3M. It is composed of abrasive particles maintained on a flexible backing material by a durable resin polymer.

These adhesive tapes are designed for foot traffic of about one million passes, or 3 years with foot traffic of 1,000 people per day (lifetime reduced when fork-lift trucks use the area). Some references can be painted without altering the surface and the non-slip capacity of the product.

The company 3M offers several particle thicknesses :

• Fine abrasive grit particles - Reference B2, 600 series
• Fine abrasive grit particles – for barefoot traffic
• Medium abrasive grit particles – for bonding moist areas
• Coarse abrasive grit particles – For outdoor applications, reference 710
• Composite aluminium foil – for bonding surfaces with relief
