      What are the characteristics of 3M DP110?

The 3M DP110 is a two-component epoxy adhesive belonging to the epoxy adhesive range developed by 3M.

Its key feature is its relatively fast curing time and its classification as tough: it combines the benefits of both rigid and flexible adhesives.

This adhesive offers good peel resistance, high shear strength, and excellent impact resistance, making its aging resistance another advantage.

The curing time (the time during which the adhesive can be extruded before it polymerizes) is rapid, ranging from 9 to 15 minutes for 10 g of mixture at 24°C.

The handling time (the time required for the adhesive to achieve sufficient performance for manipulating the assembly) is 20 minutes.

Polymerization occurs at room temperature, allowing for the permanent bonding of identical or different materials.

It is classified as versatile, as it demonstrates excellent adhesion to metal and good adhesion to a variety of substrates such as:

• Glass

• Wood

• Ceramics

• Most high surface energy plastics (polycarbonate, ABS, acrylic, etc.)

• Rigid PVC

• Rubber

Two colors are available: gray and translucent, which is appreciated for assemblies where aesthetics and final design are important.

      How to apply it?

Application of the product is done using a set of accessories:

• An EPX adhesive gun: manual or pneumatic.

• A 1:1 piston to extrude the two components.

• A mixing nozzle that mixes, blends, and applies both components simultaneously.
