      Description of ADEZIF MV823 Double-Sided Tape

ADEZIF MV823 is a double-sided adhesive tape made of 100% closed-cell grey acrylic foam, which gives it excellent water resistance.

It can be applied to many surfaces, allowing the assembly of materials such as painted or unpainted metals, glass, and high-surface-energy plastics like rigid PVC, ABS, or polycarbonate.

The distinguishing feature of the MV823 is its high conformability and thickness of 2.3 mm, making it ideal for applications where thickness and conformability are required (this high thickness is also found in 3M's Scotch VHB 4991 acrylic foam tape).

Unlike conventional double-sided foam tapes, ADEZIF MV823 has no backing and consists of 100% high-performance acrylic adhesive in the form of a thick film. This gives it exceptional viscoelasticity and a high capacity to absorb dynamic loads: it can deform but most importantly return to its original shape without losing performance.

Its resistance to shocks and vibrations is extremely high, along with its initial adhesion, providing an immediate, durable and permanent bond.

It also offers excellent resistance to solvents and UV rays, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.

This tape is grey; for a similar transparent product, we recommend the ADEZIF MV580 (3 mm thick).

We stock this product at our three sites in a maximum width of 900 mm. We can also cut it to your desired width and shape using our cutting machines.

      How to apply MV823?

The application process is very simple and requires no special tools. It can be applied manually or with a specific manual dispenser, following a 6-step process that guarantees optimal adhesion.

Don't forget the first essential step: cleaning the surfaces thoroughly to remove any dirt, dust, or grease that could prevent long-term adhesion of the adhesive tapes.
