3M degreasing cleaner for use before applying VHB or other adhesives

      What are its characteristics?

To ensure a perfect assembly between two surfaces, it is essential that they are completely clean, free from dust, dirt, and grease.

The surface cleaner offered by 3M is a mixture of isopropyl alcohol (90%) and distilled water (10%) that effectively cleans and degreases any smooth surface, ensuring perfect adhesion of your high-performance adhesive tapes, such as VHB.

It leaves no residue and is designed for use on metals, coated surfaces, numerous types of plastics, and most painted surfaces.

      Usage tips

Application is easy and quick: soak a lint-free cotton cloth with the cleaner, wipe the surface or joints always in the same direction, and let it dry completely before applying the adhesive tape.

In case of heavy soiling, do not hesitate to first apply the 3M industrial cleaner.

The bottle must be tightly closed after each use to prevent the evaporation of the alcohol, which could alter the concentration and effectiveness of the product.

This product is also available in individual 3M wipes, packaged in pouches for easy transport, offering convenient and occasional use.
