Description of ThreeBond TB1375B Anaerobic Bonding Adhesive
TB1375B is an anaerobic reactive adhesive/sealant, which cures spontaneously when isolated from air contact between closely spaced metal surfaces.
It has been specially developed for bonding and sealing close-fitting parts, with high strength once cured, to permanently lock and seal cylindrical assemblies, bearings, gears and pulleys that will not require subsequent disassembly.
It allows reliable assembly of metallic materials and prevents corrosion.
Key benefits of ThreeBond TB 1375B threadlocker
- Increases joint life by eliminating fretting (small amplitude oscillatory movement)
- Improves the performance of your assembly by distributing stresses (unlike welding, stapling, etc.)
- Facilitates tight fits and enhances mechanical performance (lubrication)
- Prevents fretting and corrosion by providing a complete seal against oil, water and most chemicals.
- Excellent vibration resistance
- Resistance to automotive fluids
- High resistance to heat
Applications for Threebond 1375 B anaerobic adhesive
- For holding cylinder liners, bushes and tubes in castings.
- Allows the use of sliding fits instead of press fits and interference fits.
- Facilitates assembly by helping bearings and bushings find alignment points.
Adezif advice
TB3095C activator should be used to ensure adequate curing in the case of inert substrates or where the bonding gap is excessive.
Always make sure you choose the right product for your application. For example, if you want a joint that is both watertight and removable in plumbing, choose an anaerobic adhesive such as Loctite 577.
If you have specific sealing problems: drinking water standard, high viscosity, large clearances, specific temperatures (>150°C), interface between different metals, etc., contact us for technical expertise.
