      Description of ThreeBond TB 1344 E Anaerobic Adhesive

ThreeBond 1344 is a blue anaerobic reactive adhesive that hardens spontaneously when isolated from air between closely positioned metal surfaces.

• Thread Locking and Sealing: This threadlocker was developed for locking and sealing threaded parts and metal fittings that may leak due to vibrations, temperature fluctuations, or pressure.

• Low Resistance After Curing: It is recommended for frequent disassembly and fine threads:

  • Hydraulic and Pneumatic Piping Systems

  • Non-ferrous Parts made of brass or aluminum

  • Precision Screws

Characteristics of TB1344E

• Prevents Self-Loosening: Avoids self-loosening, corrosion, and seizing.

• Low Disassembly Resistance: Designed for frequent removal with hand tools.

• Eliminates Mechanical Locking Parts: Removes the need for mechanical locking elements such as spring washers or nylon nuts.

• Reduces Required Torque: Decreases the tightening torque needed.

• No Shrinkage of the Gasket: A single-component product without solvents.

• Total Sealing: Provides total sealing against oil, water, and most chemicals and solvents: engine oil, gasoline, coolant, ethanol, propanol. Note: Not recommended for use in pure oxygen and in the presence of chlorine.

• Instant Sealing: Offers instant sealing under low pressure.

• Excellent Vibration Resistance: Highly resistant to vibrations.

• Advice: The TB3095C activator can be used to ensure proper curing and/or increase polymerization speed in the case of inert substrates or excessive bonding gaps.
