ATG 700 manual dispenser from 3M for transfer adhesives and glue dots

      Characteristics of the ATG 700

3M has developed a manual dispenser specifically designed for the application of:

• Double-sided transfer tape

• Temporary adhesive dots

Known as the ATG 700 (Advanced Tape Glider), it allows for the precise and rapid application of an adhesive film while automatically removing the protective liner. The integrated rewinder collects the protective paper, thereby reducing waste during handling. This tool enhances speed during adhesive application by eliminating the often tedious step of removing the liner.

This sturdy, reliable device is made of plastic and features a transparent cover that allows users to quickly check the remaining tape supply. It is suitable for double-sided transfer tapes with widths of 9 mm, 12 mm, and 19 mm, and a maximum length of 55 meters. An adapter can be inserted for 6 mm wide tapes.

It is also compatible with rolls of temporary adhesive dots with a 25 mm core.

Once the transfer tape is installed, application occurs with a simple press of the black trigger associated with the manual unwinding of the adhesive film onto the surface. The adhesive is cut when the trigger is released, resulting in a clean and neat line of glue.

Users do not come into contact with the adhesive film, keeping it clean and eliminating glue drips to clean up. No special maintenance is required.

Reloading is very easy once the roll is finished.

A transfer roll can also be applied with a metal dispenser model ADEZIF DM304. In this case, the references to be used are not wound backwards and do not require special cores, expanding the range of compatible products.

To apply 6 mm wide transfer tape, an adapter kit must be added to the dispenser, which we can provide as an option.

      Applications of the ATG 700

Safer than hot melt adhesives, this dispenser is widely used in POS displays (displays, etc.), framing, printing, stationery, photo or business card bonding, temporary positioning, scrapbook assembly, model making, and securing foam in demonstration cases.

It is also possible to apply a strip of transfer adhesive tape for starting mandrels or for creating end tabs for rolls.
