      Description of the TESA 4169

The TESA 4169 is a floor marking adhesive tape available in several colors, made of a plasticized PVC backing and an acrylic water-based adhesive.

Part of the TESAFLEX range from the company TESA, it stands out from other safety marking tapes due to its affordable price and high performance.

• Bright, durable colors: dyed through the material, they are more resistant to wear and abrasion.

• Strong backing of 180 µm: excellent resistance to wear, abrasion, and aging. This tape is applied in areas subject to heavy foot traffic or forklifts. Long-lasting durability is key to ensuring effective marking.

• Highly flexible and adaptable: high adhesion on most surfaces, even delicate ones. It can be applied in straight lines as well as curves.

• Adheres well on many surfaces due to its acrylic adhesive, making it UV resistant, unlike the similar 3M 471, which has a rubber adhesive.

• Moisture and solvent resistant: will not peel off when passed over by floor scrubbers or forklifts.

• Adhesion possible on various plastic surfaces exhibiting plasticizer migration.

• Suitable for indoor and outdoor use: once applied, you can walk in the area without the tape peeling off.

      Applications

The primary application of the TESA 4169 is floor marking and the signaling of zones in factories, warehouses, or public spaces.

It is used to delineate and mark traffic lanes or safety zones permanently and definitively.

The transparent version is not suitable for floor marking but is better for greenhouse repairs (e.g., ADEZIF PE130) or window applications.

This product can be applied easily by hand or with accessories such as a floor marking tape dispenser (like the M1 dispenser), which simplifies the application and ensures smooth dispensing.
