Overview

Description of 3M industrial polyurethane adhesives

The polyurethane adhesives available in the 3M catalog come in two versions: two-component (applied with an EPX glue gun) or one-component (applied with a 3M Jetmelt gun).

The main advantage of polyurethane adhesives is their high level of strength combined with flexibility, providing the final assembly with good resistance to shocks and vibrations while absorbing differential expansions.

These adhesives are widely used for bonding wood and plastic and are not recommended for use on metal.
