      What are the characteristics of SIKAPOWER 1511?

SIKAPOWER 1511 is a two-component epoxy adhesive recently developed by SIKA, classified as rigid. It has a slightly amber color and enables rapid and rigid bonding due to its short assembly time across a wide range of substrates.

This feature provides the user with good responsiveness and quick, effective bonding.

It has the distinctive property of having a high viscosity, allowing for the creation of thick joints and offering excellent mechanical properties for the final assembly. Its resistance to static loads and shear is high.

Like all epoxy adhesives, it polymerizes at room temperature but very quickly compared to other adhesives (working time: 6 minutes at 23°C). Curing can be accelerated with heat.

This adhesive is suitable for various substrates, including:
