      Description of ADEZIF PT965

ADEZIF PT 965 is a double-sided polyester adhesive tape with a 200 µm thickness, highly appreciated for its transparency.

Its modified acrylic adhesive ensures instant adhesion with excellent long-term performance and good resistance to plasticizers.

It is suitable for a wide variety of substrates with high or medium surface energy: metal, glass, wood, and plastics (PC, ABS, PMMA...).

The permanent bond achieved is of high quality, with bonding performance reached very quickly, making it ideal for numerous demanding applications.

      What are its applications?

Here are a few possible applications:

• Assembly of decorative strips, wood moldings in the furniture industry

• Bonding of ABS plastic parts in automotive or household appliances

• Fixing of signs, nameplates, emblems, posters in POS displays: bonding elements onto displays or assembling advertisements at the point of sale

• Adhesion of plastic/rubber parts and EPDM profiles

• Laminating firm plaques

This double-sided polyester tape is recognized for its high mechanical properties and good shear resistance, combined with exceptional adhesion!

Its modified acrylic adhesive offers excellent resistance to solvents, plasticizers, aging, and UV rays, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications.

It ensures a reliable and durable bond on various surfaces, including difficult and demanding substrates such as plastics, varnished or laminated surfaces, and EPDM profiles.

Its temperature resistance (150°C continuously, 180°C in peaks) is another key advantage.

It is recommended for use on both short lengths and medium lengths. Once the ADEZIF PT 965 adhesive tape is positioned, the siliconized protector can be easily removed without tearing or shifting the adhesive.

In some applications, it is possible and advisable to remove the red siliconized liner after assembling the parts but before applying pressure. This allows for the adjustment of part positioning before making the final bond.

This product is available in 1000 mm log rolls, allowing for custom cutting to the desired width through our cutting machines located at our three sites.
