What is Rubalise?
Rubalise comes in a non-adhesive roll made from a weather-resistant polyethylene support that withstands tension and stretching. This durability allows it to be used outdoors and reused if necessary.
Alternative Names: It is also referred to as marking tape, signaling tape, or construction tape.
What Are Its Applications?
Traditionally, its primary use has been to delineate construction sites, which remains the case today! However, its use has expanded to more diverse applications, including promotional or advertising purposes.
Many applications are possible for this highly effective signaling tool:
Temporary Marking: For delineating construction areas in the building and public works sector (BTP).
Organization and Security: To organize, secure, or locate areas.
Guiding Crowds: To create a path for guiding and channeling people.
Access Restriction: To prohibit access to dangerous areas.
Examples of Rubalise Usage
Rubalise can be used for:
Construction Sites (BTP): The red and white rubalise is the most appropriate and widely used. Clients in the BTP sector also use it to identify themselves on a site and clearly indicate the name of the contractor or operator working on the site.
Sporting Events: For sponsorship and to showcase sponsors during sports events such as cycling races, mountain biking, trail running, car racing, motocross, and marathons.
Cultural Events: Such as festivals, inaugurations, or others organized by municipalities.
Large Surface Promotions: For promotional activities in supermarkets.
Public Safety Areas: Firefighters, police, gendarmes, and municipal employees frequently use rubalise in their daily work.
What Formats Are Available?
Rubalise is available on a white background (thickness 35, 50, or 80 µm) or yellow background (35 and 80 µm), and it can be customized and printed according to your wishes using flexographic printing techniques. A custom core is also available starting from 10,000 rolls.
Color Options: Up to 6 colors, allowing you to create customized rubalise to promote a brand or logo.
Text Printing: You can also print specific text such as "Danger Zone," "Do Not Cross," "Asbestos Danger," "Construction Area Closed to the Public," "No Parking," or other messages.
Standard References: Classic references include red and white construction tape or yellow and black marking tape.

Tips for Choosing the Right Rubalise
Thickness 35 µm: More suitable for occasional uses, such as delineating play areas or event zones.
Thickness 50 µm: Ideal for standard applications.
Thickness 80 µm: Stronger and can be used to contain or guide crowds that may lean against the marking tape. This thickness is also recommended for securing dangerous areas or restricting access to specific zones.
Eco-Friendly Options: Eco-friendly references are becoming increasingly popular, including oxo-biodegradable products (which degrade in the presence of natural bacteria within weeks) or bio-based materials (100% compostable).
Feel free to customize your rubalise with your logo, brand, or sponsor to enhance visibility and communication!
In any case, it is important to highlight that installing rubalise is very simple: it can be wrapped around a post, a tree, or between two construction barriers, and the roll easily rewinds afterward.
